A couple of years ago I did some delivery driving for the NHS (from the
distro warehouse in Astmore, Runcorn) - it was through 'Premier People'
on Bridge street. I was driving their big 3.5t transits (really easy to
drive) and the job, despite the 6am starts, was easy; no mither (except
when the warehouse gents fucked up the orders) and got to talk to some
lovely looking nurses.

The next summer I was lined up to drive a 7.5t lorry for the Royal Mail
from Liverpool (got my license in 1996) but they couldn't use me
because I had no experience (fair enough, I suppose).

I have a photo license.
Nope, no little symbols/picture on the paper part.
According to my Photocard
B and B1 in uppercase, Back of card shows a car and small van. No
size/weight restriction for the van is listed either on the photocard or
paper counterpart.
and also in Lower case
f,k,l,n&p no illustration.

On the paper license on the front I have provisional licencing for
class A,BE, GH

Without delving deeply into the DVLA quagmire, Google doesn't produce
anything useful about class BE. And I don't have leaflet 57p to hand
after 5 years.

Can't just be Class B and Class E because the commencement date for that
class is 5 weeks after my Test date (after sending off the details)
which I passed.

The NHS job sounds like a fair crack.
Don't mind early starts if needed.

Cheers. That is the info I wanted.
I knew it had changed, but not from when and what changes.

cheers. I knew there was a change and some of the regs on here would
know.

If I can drive a 3.5tonne then I might spread my wings and look for some
local delivery driving work. Won't pay much but better than the dole.
