Ooh yes, so it doesn't. My paper licence (to go with the photocard) says
"Please read the enclosed booklet INS57P.", and like you, mine isn't to
hand. Fortunately google for INS57P gave the right one as the first result.

And the answer is B, B+E (which you and I have) is Cars + trailers. Motor
vehicles with a MAM not exceeding 3500kg, and some rules about trailers
(either total is > 3500kg with trailer <= 750kg, or total <= 3500 kg with
trailer lighter than the car).

B1 is teeny cars, not vans (unless it's reliant robin ones!)

I used to have C1 and D1, as people who passed their test before the
changeover did, but they took it away from me :-(

cheers,
clive

Vaguely related, and I'm not sure it was mentioned here ...

BE is provisional for B+E (car and >750kg trailer). How did you get l
and n listed as well as f, k, and p? Looking at mine, I just have B,
B1, f, k, p (p=mopeds with CBT pass).

Not sure how I got the two extra Categories.
But I originally got my provisional in the late 80's, but it took until
2001 for me to bother taking lessons and actually passing anything.

Maybe they changed what was standard.
I know that Group B used to be motorcycle entitlement but they changed
that. Can't remember what that is now.

Delivery vans are an expanding sector at the moment. Think of all the kit
people are buying over the internet, it all has to be delivered.
Try DHL
