In all seriousness, I didn't read her transcript, but I can see the
above might happen IF (big if), she had been trying to stop her vehicle
for a bit before she threw it in neutral. She could have overheated and
glazed the brakes trying to stop it before it occurred to her to throw
it in neutral...Just a thought...

I'm thinking she had the shifter in Sport and didn't know she had to get
it back through the gate to Neutral.

Familirization with an automobile is key. They write owners manuals just
for that purpose! Imagine that!
