Oh, I don't doubt it Conor. I merely provided the link to show that virtually any attempt to fiddle a tacho can be detected by a competent analyst. That's not to say that many 'fiddlers' don't get away with it because a Bobby who has been given a short 'introduction' to tachograph charts, has not spotted such a fiddle on a normal visual roadside check. Quite frankly, this is a pack of lies. It is not possible to disable a speed limiter with a screwdriver and a piece of Blu-Tack. Furthermore, if anyone was running in the manner described to Spain, it would be impossible for this to remain undetected when stopped for a tachograph check "Depresion" has in the past mentioned his mental problems and this is simply a manifestation of them. -- Regards, Vince. Really then how was it possible for him to demonstrate?

I was surprised on Sunday night on the A1M to be overtaken by three artics with Spanish registration plates. Particularly since my speedometer was reading 75mph at the time. |
