If you give it additional data it will given an approximation of fuel, cost and duration. There are other route planning programmes but they're not as good IMO. If you're too tight/can't afford to buy such a programme then Google Maps will do the job, roughly. A tip you might find useful. When posting to usenet, people will find it easier to read your message if you use a short heading and put the bulk of your message in the body.
