They are expensive cars aren't they!

We've had broken window regulators, brake light switch go, leaky rear washer
problem, broken clutch pedal to name a handful of them. I don't know why we
don't see it. Probly because its been quite reliable despite everything.
When its running good its a nice feeling. All these problems have been in
about 2 years of ownership. So I guess its it ain't too bad but the parts
are just sooooo expensive for little gizmo thingies vw want a fortune!

Thats an FSI is it not? But in any case- yes it should be a narrow band
titanium 5 wire-er.

As you have found out- the perceived quality of VW, certainly the Golf 5, is
alot higher than the reality! Hopefully you won;t have the infamous
PVA-glue/cardboard-induced gearbox failure though..
