<shrug> Fastest I've ever driven on public roads is about 130.

Mind you, that's probably because I've never owned anything quicker.

SWMBO woke up just as we arrived at the chunnel terminal, stretched, and
said "Oh. Are we here already...?" - then just looked at me and said "Do
I want to know?"

I don't tend to sit the Saab that much above a ton - the steering starts
to get a little too light for my liking. The XM was a much comfier high-
speed cruiser. But dull.

Fastest I've ever passengered in the UK was about 190, though. In a GT40.

Yes. Clearly designed by an aircraft engineer. I took my tweaked Ruby
off the clock. Briefly. Quite scary.

Much like the Activa. It's rock solid at those sort of speeds.

They were shite on the MX-5, and shite on the Puma. Two totally
different cars, one FWD, one RWD. They were fantastic in the dry, but
show them so much as a spot of rain and they just turned dangerous.
I've never known a tyre like them before or since.

The Skoda has some teflon fred type things on I've never even heard
of. They're coming off next weekend when it goes in to have it's few
problems sorted.

I fancy some Avon ZV3s....

Strange comment from someone so fussy about speed limits...

I've put ZVs on a few cars - my old man's Xant, the Alfa 75. Decent
enough, especially for the price.
