Headed home on IH95 this afternoon a few miles north of Daytona Beach
about 2 miles south of one of the FDOT's weigh stations. Most of the
trucks are in the right lane preparing for the exit to the scales
except this one tanker that is in the center lane and poking along
looking for an opening in the line of trucks.

I'm in the far left lane passing all of this when the tanker in the
center lane starts drifting to the left. I sound the horn and he moves
back over and I continue my pass.

As the weigh station approaches, I am wondering if this tanker is
going to blow off the weigh station, but he is signaling to change to
the right lane, however none of the trucks in the right want to let
him in.

As we pass the ramp, the trucks start entering the weigh station and
the tanker moves over to the right and onto the ramp and cuts into the
line. I noted a big cloud of smoke from the brakes/tires of the truck
behind the tanker and it appeared that he was taking evasive maneuvers
to avoid hitting the tanker.

Unfortunately, it appeared that the tanker made it into the station
and the truck he cut off wound up missing the ramp to the scales as he
was going across the gore point back to the travel lanes. I hit the
gas and got out of the area as I didn't want to be around for any LEO
activity that I suspect was sure to follow. I just hope that the truck
that missed the scales because of this MFFY didn't get pulled over and
cited for it...

Probably got nailed by some sort of enforcement camera or transponder
system.
