Just out of interest is the only Qualification you need to be an mp a
private tuition (Eaton or the like) and knowing someone already there? or
do they actually have to know something about the real world?

Eton and the Guards used to be the thing for the Tories, (Cameron went
to Eton) for all parties its likely to be a good few years as a local
councilor and then fighting unwinnable seats. Unless you appear from
nowhere like Blair.
