2 lanes each on all 4 sides.
With traffic lights each side.
A state with right turn on red.
---------------------------------
When you make a left turn into 2 thru lanes on your left you should enter
and complete your turn in the left lane and not in the right lane right
away.Do not make a left into the right lane
Shortly there after you can move over into the right lane if clear of
traffic and you so desire.
Now here comes the hard part for drivers who have been driving for only 20
years or so.
Now remember these young drivers are still learning the rules of the road.
When you are making that left.........REMEMBER THIS.
That vehicle accross the intersection from you in the right lane can turn
right on a red light.
At the same time you get a green left arrow on your side.

you mean, most drivers under the age of 90.

Or at least that's what it seems like.

IME it is never safe to RTOR in the situation you describe. *more often
than not* the left turner will turn into the right lane. It's wrong,
but most people do it.

Hmmm...gotta brush up on the regs. I was taught that you turn into
the lane matching the one you are coming from..or the one that matches
it the closest. Of coruse that applied(s) where both lanes were
allowed to turn left. Where only the left lane can turn left, then
yes, into the left most lane.

it's common in the Orlando area to have TWO left turn lanes turning into
either 2 or three lanes.
some intersections have a LED sign prohibiting right-on-red when the other
direction has a green arrow.
I've seen many cars MISS this signal or ignore it.

Plus,it's common for the entrance to a corner gas station or shopping
center to be very close to the intersection, and you HAVE to turn into the
rightmost lane if you want to get into those entryways.

Lastly,Right-on-red can ONLY be made when traffic flow permits.
That means if you have the green arrow, they cannot run right until turning
traffic has cleared. Traffic with the green signal has the right-of-
way,that includes green arrows.
