How Model T Ford Cars could have had automatic transmissions

Its old news to me.Henry Ford wanted to/insisted on keeping Model Ts
simple and strong and light weight and very easy for anybody to work on
them.One of his engineers asked him what distance between the front seat
and the dashboard? Henry Ford told him enough room so that milk cans can
sit there.

I say, bring back the Ford Model Ts.
