Amazing no? And yet nobody gives a damn. All this talk about "save
the children" but when it comes to altering driving habits to save
kids, americans say "hell with the little bastards. I love my speeding
and drunk driving and red light running and texting."

Could be they're lying but do you really doubt that thousands of kids
are killed on the highways every year?

Lots of kids are killed in swimming pools. Far far more than are
killed by guns, for example. But as with cars killing kids, nobody
cares.

Compare the number of pools used by children and the number of guns
used by children.
