:Quite a few Ford's (2 EF's, EA, NC11 Fairlane and an ED owned by

The cabs in Airlie beach back in '93 were mostly EAs, the rest Commodore
VNs(?). Anyway, all the falcons showed some signs of rust, whereas the
Commodes didnt at all. I much preferred to drive the Falcons though. My
old faithful XE ute didnt have a whole lot of metal left in the pillars
and elsewhere towards the end, mechanically fine though. I used to see a
lot of very rusty Fords, but far fewer Holdens. Thats just my own
observations from the tropics.
