BIL bought an ex coal mine Cruiser cheap and he spent a lot of time pulling door trims and other bits off to clean out the coal dust. He must have gotten lucky or it had never seen any water because he had for quite a few years and it didn't have any signs of rust. Daryl

Too bad that what you "own until Monday" isn't a Ford, but a Mazda with Ford badges :) > I'd never never buy a Ford for myself I'm sure everyone at Ford is celebrating that fact as we speak. > - worthless shitheaps. And they are all ugly too. Lol :) From the retard who proclaims his 20 year old shitheap ute to be the duck's guts of motorised vehicles :) > Q is will Ford follow the direction of GM? - banckrupt? GM isn't bankrupt. -- Regards, Noddy.

The climate makes a huge difference. Even 10 years ago up in QLD (at least along the coast) you'd be hard pressed to find an XD, XE and to a lesser extent and XF without significant rust. Same for Darwin. By contrast in Tas its much easier to find the same vehicles in much better condition even today. |
