It's a Mitsubishi.

They can make 4 cylinder engines that suck fuel like a jumbo jet.

In country Qld, ATM, the best we can purchase LPG for is 79c litre and
unleaded $1.19 litre. Then there is the (Quoted) $4,000 conversion price tag
so to "break even" up here, on this basis you'd need to use 10,000 litres of
LPG. (On average), Joe Public travels 20,000klms year using (on average)
2,000 ltrs fuel, so after 5 years you would then expect to be saving money.
I don't understand why we in regional Qld, are disadvantaged with LPG prices
as opposed to prices in Melbourne.

This gives both of

Except of course, the Yaris doesn't have the $4,000 conversion tag attached
to it.

How much is it in Brisbane?
LPG price is always higher in regional areas including in Vic.
For as long as I can remember LPG in Melb has always been approx half
the price of petrol but the conversion cost makes it not worthwhile
unless you do a lot more than average klms or are the sort of person who
keeps their vehicle for a very long time.

I don't either.

No, it doesn't, but then the Yaris also isn't a 2+ tonne seven seat wagon or
a 5 seat crew cab utility.

The short answer is that there's no such thing as a free lunch. It cost 4700
bucks to convert the Terry and 4000 to do the Rodeo, and thanks to the
government rebate we got 3200 bucks back. The Terry paid for itself within
12 months and is now in the black, and with the increased mileage I've been
doing in the Rodeo lately it's not far away from buying itself out of debt
either.

Once it does it's all cream from there.
