The punctured tyre was an Alloy, the spare was a standard wheel.
The Alloy had extra long nuts on, I had to fit shorter wheelnuts
for the spare.

What happens if she get's a puncture a long way from home and you can't get
there? It would have been better to let her do the job while you provided
instruction on the correct method - and showed the tarts in her office up
for what they are.
