I think you're utterly clueless about the realities of day to day driving.
Do you even have a license?

At a closing speed of something like 50mph most drivers won't be looking at
whats happening on the opposite side of the car thats passing you. If they
did then theres a good chance *they* might hit a bike thats coming up in
front of them. But then you could have a good little whinge about that
couldn't you.

They'd be too far away to see the details of what happened other than the
car clipped the bike.
