Have you been eating a lot of tomatoes? Don't know why but my GP said that
is what causes pain in an old broken leg for me. 2 or 3 days of eating 2 or
3 tomatoes per day seems to bring my pain on.

Not in large amounts, just a slice or two. Had a bottle of wine the night
before..

Maybe the citric acid? I know tomatoes can cause kidney stones to act up.
The weather has turned a bit cool,..maybe that contributes?

I thought that was probably it for years, but I don't think I've had a bout
since cutting out most tomato from my diet 2 or 3 years back. So pretty sure
the doc was right in my case.

All Ibuprofens (and NSAID's for that matter) come with warnings.

I've taken "Brufen" and others since 1969 with no ill effects.
As I said I have now advanced to SAID's, taken in conjunction
with stronger Slow Release Ketoprofen tablets (Oruvail). No
abdominal or cardio malfunctions. The combination of the two
tablets have done the trick for me, inflammation and pain are
being kept well in check.
