Like many people who are way ahead of their time, Mr Rogers has to suffer
the torments of jealous peers and he suffers those torments with dignity.
What isn't there to admire about a person who continues his chosen
scientific research in spite of almost universal condemnation?

Since Carl refuses to answer maybe you can -

What scientific method is being utilized in the aforementioned research?
What data is being collected scientifically? What analysis is being applied
to said data? How is said data being accumulated?

There are a whole lot of us who do the same thing as Mr. Rogers, only better and
without the pretentiousness and braggadocio that he exhibits. We aren't
delusional enough to think that what we're doing is some new science and that we
are engaging in scientific research.

Of course I'm probably arguing with one of Carl's sock puppets, which is
probably a violation of OSTT, so I guess I'll stop now.

That's you, Carl, and who else Turd Burglar?

This is the very point. You and your kind remind me of the Paris Salon in
late 19th century. Then, the established arbiters of artistic values (the
Salon jurists) rejected and dismissed impressionist works out of hand.
Boy did they get that wrong.

Viatology is not just a scientific framework for understanding
transportation technology, it also has a cultural context. It is the
cultural context which distinquishes Viatology
from the torrent of undifferentiated junk which regurgitates out of
countless road fanboi galleries.

It matters little that the resolution might be higher on another site, or
that another site might have a "better" navigaton system. Simply, WWTL
is art.

I don't know the man, so I can hardly be a sock puppet. I am just a
person who appreciates art. I am sure that web archive curators will
ensure that WWTL becomes a future national treasure.
