Cop, speeding (86 in a 40) to a collision scene after taking time out to
get cleaned up and having something to eat (don't cops always say 'leave
earlier'?) kills two women (yes, scott, old women in a buick) as they
turned left but didn't see him, because well, he was moving way faster
than the sight lines (a small rise kept the buick out of view). Of
course he suffers no penalities for this, yet if any of us were to drive
86 in a 40 and have a collision it would be prison time. The cop is out
writing speeding tickets to safe drivers again.

In an ironic twist, after watching the video of the newscast, I
clicked the UHP Dashcam video link. Before showing the dashcam video,
and ad was shown; one of those PSA lecturing about the dangers of
texting while driving. Maybe they ought to make a PSA about the
dangers of driving on the same road as the cops in UT.
