They have already mostly back-doored their way into a national ID card for grownups, via 'Real ID' act and standardized drivers licenses. Enough states pass AZ-style laws, and parents will be begging for IDs for their kids as well, so they don't have to jump through hoops every time the cops do a sweep at the playground. (That bit about the cops have to have another reason to talk to the person first? Yeah, right.
