Where is a good place to go (Sydney) to purchase lengths of reflective
tape suitable for affixing to painted wood?

My carport (one of three of a external group of three) is at the end
of a short, sloping common driveway, and some idiot managed to bash
into one of the pillars and nearly snap it in two last Monday night
(promptly repaired, thank goodness). Apparently the whole damn thing
was moved slightly, but luckily didn't collapse.

A bloody big reflective "Slow Down" sign wouldn't go astray either.

Or any car parts shop, reflectors that you would use on a trailer would
also work.
It would also be a good idea to build the carport posts out of something
a lot more substantial so they are not as easily damaged, sounds like it
could also use some diagonal bracing.

Get a sign made by your local signwriter. Or pinch a small sign local and peal the black off and get
the rest vynal cut for your wording. Ive a spare one in my front yard you can have, local kids threw
it over the fence last weekend and its still there in the bushes. ;o)
