Unfortunately that's one of those "how long is a piece of string questions", with so many variables that impact in what you'll pay to have it done it really isn't funny. Your *average* ballpark price for a respray these days is close to 10 grand if you want a decent job using quality materials, and provided there's very little surface prep to do in terms of panel finishing. If you want cheap there's a few places around who will blow a couple of coats of 2 pack over the thing for a couple of grand, but that'll be the quickest mask up and paint you ever saw and in 12 months time you'll be asking how much it costs to get that off and paint over the mess left behind. If you want a full on "glass out, panels off inside and out job" the sky really is the limit. I know a bloke who had exactly that done to a HK Monaro at a panel shop in Dandenong, and his "respray" bill is was over 32 thousand bucks. The really sad part about that is that he took the car down there minus trim, glass and mechanicals, and it doesn't look any better than a 10 grand paint job you'd get anywhere else. -- Regards, Noddy.

Either way, pissing it on or using the best equipment available the results would be the same if you had anything to do with it :) -- Regards, Noddy.

Totally depends on how much you get done and in what paint. Add any rust repairs and small dents removed at take that to 6-8k. Some flash colour and a total respray- $10k+
