A Jaguar is no match for a magna in that area.
There are a lot of old Jaguars driving happily on the road, whilst magna's
half their age are abandoned POS on the side of the road..

I saw a Jaguar having trouble yesterday. It pulled over to the side of
the road, smoke started to appear, the next thing I know flames were
leaping up to half a metre high from under the bonnet.

The fire engine turned up 5 minutes later, but I reckon that would have
been about 4 minutes 45 seconds too late.

It was in the XJ13 prototype in 1966, then fitted to the XJ series in
69/70.

But definitely not in the Mark II.

So this was one of the OTHER jag engines that catch fire.

So less clutch breakage, even more fuel usage?

Basically
