I've expanded this thread again and cross posted it to a number of groups
that will more than likely have affected people on it.

It is cross posted because I believe it is important to gather and share
amongst a wider community this scam artist. It is also omportant for a
permanent record to be made at Google groups so that others in the future
will be able to become aware of Daniels activities and so if others in the
future are unfortunate enough to get scammed again they can easily find some
details on him.

I would like to hear from anyone who has ever been ripped off by Daniel
Chacos who has alias names including:

Mick Monter
George Barnes
Mark Harrison
Colin Edwards
Daniel Chancos

Currently I have been contact by 10 different people who have been ripped
off to a sum of 10 thousand dollars ($10,000)

I have uncovered a number of different mobile phone numbers, alias names,
alias email addresses, bank accounts, mailing addresses etc.

I have Daniels real address details and contact numbers and will be filing
my report with Police in NSW on Friday 18 May 2007.

Daniel's M.O. is to sell goods via a number of different mediums including
news groups, eBay, On line bulliten boards, and online for sale outlets. He
sells radio gear, navigation equipment (i.e. GPS units), laptops, electronic
organisers and no doubt other goods. He gets the user to pay then never
delivers.

Given the fact he uses false names, email addresses and home or postage
addresses he is almost impossible to track down.

If you have been stung by Daniel at any time in the past, even if you did
eventually get your goods, or money back I would still like to hear from you
to show the extent and on going nature of his fraudulent activities. I will
take all of the information to the Police on Friday with the view of having
him investigated. This unfortunately is not a way of getting your money
back, but is an opportunity to have Daniel charged with the matters.
Obviously with the on going and growing rate of outstanding money and
promised goods this is likely to attract the interest of the local Police.

I also have a plan to try and recover as much money as possible for all
involved so if you would like your money back this is also an opportunity to
jump on the band wagon.

All replies to my email address which shouldn't be too hard to work out,
otherwise reply where you see this and I'll get back to you.

Alternatively if you live in NSW I encourage you to visit your local Police
and file a report there. Some reports have already been made to Police and
when I report everything I've got all names should hopefully link together.
This male has scammed people in almost every state of Australia now from
reports I have got back from individuals. Are you one of them?

Brian Lea.

The facts are correct and spot on Lushy. I'm waiting till Friday because of
a couple of reasons.

a. that is the first day I have available to travel down there.
b. The local Police as I understand already know this bloke so I might as
well cut out the middle man at my local Police station.
c. each day I get one or two new people (often from other States) come
forward with more debt owed by Daniel Chacos.

All claims put forward at this stage are legitimate and have been backed by
documentation. So what will happen on Friday is the Police will get my
details (for my individual claim). They will also get the file of the
documents on everyone else which as I write has gone up again and now totals
12 people with a confirmed amount of just over $17,000. I have a couple
more interstate leads I'm chasing up tomorrow which I'm sure will have the
amount jump even higher.

So once again if you have been ripped off Lushy by Daniel Chacos then feel
free to contact me with details and I'll throw them on top of everyone
elses.

Brian.
