You've really got to hand it to the police who decided to close the
road. They were the wrong arm of the law. They should be made to
shoulder the blame for all the unnecessary disruption, and foot the bill
for any inconvenience caused. The officers who were responsible should
be elbowed out. [I'm glad I got that off my chest.]
