I don't suppose you can help me with my metamorphosing into a snail problem but does anybody have a good steering wheel cleaning method. Flash liquid seems to leave it just as sticky as before.

Perhaps an abrasive like cif would be better?

Using a dish cloth (now relegated to floor cloth) with a bowl of water with washing up liquid and keep going until all the gunge is off the wheel worked for me. -- Andrew

I'll go for the washing up liquid first.
