Looks like the aircon compressor in the Liberty has shat itself. After making
all sorts of horrible noises it is now not working at all. Aircon will only
blow hot. What is the best way of fixing it? I've got a mate who can evac the
system for me so after that do I pull it off and replace it or have it rebuilt?
Anyone know of anyone in Perth that will do me an exchange unit. I've never
done much with aircon before so enquiring minds want to know. I figure this is
going to be wallet hurting.

Was about $450 for a recon, circa $700 for a newy (Denso)

I don't see the point screwing around with one that may only last 6 months
again. I'd rather do it once and do it right.
