Taxi drivers spend all their working day driving around the streets.
They don't really have any 'base' at the start and end of journeys.

Other drivers are unlikely to have to do that. Bus drivers often start
and end at depots. Even postmen and couriers stop to deliver (and even
to pick up) goods etc, and therefore have a chance to 'nip in' to visit
a toilet during the permitted 'loading' times.

They are their own boss and can have a break when they want one. Obviously
when not carrying a fare. Unlike say a bus driver.

Neither do most private drivers. Unless you consider say a shop a base.

Every bus route has a depot at the start and finish? The bus will start
and stop at a depot each day - but that's a long time to go without a pee
break.

A cab can simply drive to the nearest car park or parking bay etc with
toilets near by. Same as you or I would have to do. The difference being
they are more likely to know the locations of them.
