p1398 1997 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4.0L
I need some help. I recently went for Inspection and Failed with the Trouble Code P1398. All of the research I did pointed to the Crankshaft Position Sensor. So I replaced it. Reset the Check Engine Light with a code scanner and then drove the Truck. a minute or so later the Check Engine Light came back on. I... 6 Mar 2007 23:49
93 Ford Explorer Stalls While Driving
I have a 1993 Ford Explorer with a 4.0 L that started stalling while driving about six month ago. It shuts off like someone turned the key. Originally you could push in the clutch and immediately restart it without a problem. The occurrence is very random and there is never anything common between occurrences. ... 9 Apr 2007 09:30

Hissing sound from Air Conditioner on 97 Accord
I have a 97 Accord with a bit over 200K. For the past 20K or so, I hear an intermittent hissing sound below the glove box when the AC switch is activated. Cooling seems to work fine, verified this summer in the scorching heat of the southwest. Other than being quite annoying, I am wondering if this is a clue that ... 18 Feb 2007 16:05
Running a car on water via electrolysis
Ever since the first patent in the 1930's, it seems people just want to debunk the idea of combusting hydrogen from water inside an internal combustion engine, but yet again it seems a company has produced the technology to make it happen: http://hytechapps.com/company/press Meanwhile the mafia known as the o... 19 Feb 2007 14:40
PK3 Security Key Issues
Having learned some interesting behavior from experience, I'd like to share with anyone interested. I wanted to install an aftermarket remote starter on my wife's 2002 Montana. Because it uses PK3 keys, manuals stated an additional PK3 key placed inside an additional transponder module was required. I found a sho... 20 Feb 2007 22:11

are all engines the same?
Alright, here's what I'm getting at: currently, the car I'm driving before I get my liscense is an in-line 4 cylinder. Now, just say that each cylinder has a displacement of .5 liters for each type of 4 cylinder(v, inline, boxer etc.), would they all have the same RPM? Or does the crankshaft have something to do ... 25 Jul 2006 15:38
