Clive peters closing has nothing to do with politics they were dearer
than any other similar concern pure and simple.

I don't know where it went, but it was apparently siphoned off by one of the
staff. How such a business could go and no one notice something was wrong
until 20 million bucks was missing remains a mystery though :)

Bullshit.

Clive Peters were as competitive as anyone else in a *very* competitive
market segment. Their problems were caused by a staff member ripping them
off to the tune of 20 million dollars.

You must have gone to different clive peeters, I was after camera and
checked prices at the good guys, j&b hi fi, retrovision, hardly
normal,joyce main and some others and by far the dearest was clive peeters
