That's one reason I've never driven the Dallas North Tollway...when we pass
through the city, we go I-45 to I-30 to I-35E if we're headed for the
Dakotas. If we're heading to Harlan County, we'll take US 59 to I-20 and
I-220, then US 71/future I-49 to I-30, then I-40 from Little Rock to
Nashville, I-65 to Bowling Green (where we get our sack of White Castles),
the Cumberland Parkway to Somerset, Ky. 80 to London, I-75 to Corbin, US 25E
to Pineville, US 119 to Cumberland, and Ky. 160 to Benham.

I have friends with relatives in Lufkin. When they went to visit they took I-30
to Texarkana and then US 59 south. US 59's control city there is Houston, so any
particular reason why you choose US 71 north over US 59?

You can get your White Castles at London now. There's one on KY 80 just off
I-75, between the interstate and US 25.

On the "Undercover Boss" show this past week, one of the White Castle execs was
working in various restaurants, including one in Covington and another one or
two in the Cincy area.

That's a little less congested at times than 59...about the same number of
towns on 59 and 71, but once you're in Arkansas, you've got freeway almost
all the way to I-30. (I'm looking forward to seeing how the future I-49
interchange in east Texarkana is doing.)

That might be a possibility on the way, and it'd be a bit easier than having
to duck into Glasgow for a sack

We've seen that...and I'd patronize a White Castle in Houston. (Krystal has
one location in the metro, and it's on FM 1960 west of I-45 about four miles
from IAH...and I've never been a fan of theirs.) We'll be headed up to the
Commonwealth in six weeks, give or take the odd day, to see if the east end
of Harlan County hasn't already been annexed by Cumberland. It's pretty
annoying when some online maps assume Benham's ZIP Code is 40823...and Bing
still has the railroad track running through Cumberland, Benham, and Lynch
up to the end a half-mile east of Gap Branch Road, when those rails were
removed a decade and change ago.

Whatcha mean "why"? I, for one, know everything there is to know about
that accident just from looking at the video. I'm sure they'll subpoena
me any second about it.

Looks like the car moved into the lane occupied by the truck (tried
to, heh), swerved away, overcorrected, and then hit the front wheel.

There were actually some good drivers in that video.
