The 76 station down at the corner is selling regular for $3.199. Half a mile further on the same street the Arco is selling it for $2.959. 24 cents difference. I bought the factory manual a couple of months ago but haven't looked at it seriously yet except to determine that I have to buy a different manual if I want to take off the door panel to get at the window mechanism without doing irreparable damage to what I assume are one-time fasteners :-( -- Cheers, Bev ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ "Giving money and power to government is like giving whiskey and car keys to teenage boys." -- P.J. "...in Texas." Back when we were doing a lot of cross-country driving, Arkansas had the cheapest gas. This is California. We have the most expensive gas. There used to be a lot of neat gas stations. No kidding, and we've survived California's prices the two times we were in Long Beach, in 1999 and 2000. Down here near the Gulf, we've got Exxon, Valero, Chevron, Murphy USA, Shell, Mobil, CITGO, Conoco, Phillips 66, Texaco, H-E-B, and selected Walmarts and almost all Sam's Clubs. -- Patrick "The Chief Instigator" Humphrey (patrick(a)io.com) Houston, Texas www.prismnet.com/~patrick/aeros.php (TCI's 2009-10 Houston Aeros) AA#2273 LAST GAME: San Antonio 3, Houston 2 (April 11) NEXT GAME: The 2010-11 opener, in October |
