I for one can not understand why people don't post the link to the actual article as opposed to some abbreviated form on some questionable source as I often see. So it comes down to people who aren't competent drivers "doing themselves in" and then suing (one would hope unsucessfully) for their mistake. Lovely. Perhaps all new drivers should be required to use a mandatory standard transmission for their first 5 years of driving. -- (setq (chuck nil) car(chuck) )

What do you want?... it delivered to you on a silver platter?... Have you seen the price of silver lately? When I saw "AUDI"... oh well there it is... "Pedal Confusion", which I have been suspecting for 8 months. "Pedal Confusion" is well known to the insurance industry and to automotive engineers. Search the archives of Car and Driver magazine for more info on "Pedal Confusion". They wrote articles about the Audi fiasco 25 to 35 years ago. That's when I learned about "Pedal Confusion". There is an important component that goes along "Pedal confusion"... it's called "panic". > as opposed to some abbreviated form on some > questionable source as I often see. Search "Bob Bondurant" for more info re "heel and toeing", if necessary. > > > > > -- > (setq (chuck nil) car(chuck) )

Wrong pedal apply probably explains alot of the issues. I just wonder if the throttle pedal/sensor recall is going to fix the rest. I am convinced and certain that the wreck involving the CHP guy was not a wrong pedal deal. Ben |
