A friend of my wife was rear ended twice in a week by the same guy. On
Saturday the lady braked for a deer and the guy was too close and
rear-ended her, knocking her into a ditch. On Wednesday, in her
husband's car she was at a stop sign and the same guy hit her. This
time the cop was a bit more attentive. The guy was high and had a
large amount of meth in his car. He is now in county jail and Bertha
and Charlie have two damaged vehicles.
What are the odds?

Was she within 5 miles of home? It's well documented that that
is where most accidents occur. :^)

If she'd been going slower, she'd have avoided that first crash. You can't
drive too slow.

It made me think of an old Happy Days episode where someone was ramming
womens shopping carts in the grocery store to meet them...
