Hi,

Just got a never-used, in its original box Vector LR 970. When I turn
the unit on, there's the self-test and then a message (with beeps): "?
L01 CAL" that never stops.

I didn't find anything about this message in the ower's manual nor on
the Web.

Does anybody has an idea about it?

Thanks.

I'd assume that the device hasn't been calibrated. The "L01" is "Level
1" or "initial", and a calibration is being demanded.

Hi,
Indeed, the unit needed to be "calibrated" and is now functionning.
However, I cannot turn the following features on:
- KA (on)
- X (on)
when I do so, the unit displays the ?L01 CAL message again. Would it
be because those frequencies are not in use in my area? But
otherwise, K band seems to functionning well.

Thanks!
