From: StephaneLeFou on 23 Aug 2008 08:42 Hi, Just got a never-used, in its original box Vector LR 970. When I turn the unit on, there's the self-test and then a message (with beeps): "? L01 CAL" that never stops. I didn't find anything about this message in the ower's manual nor on the Web. Does anybody has an idea about it? Thanks.

The "L01" is "Level 1" or "initial", and a calibration is being demanded.

The "L01" is "Level > 1" or "initial", and a calibration is being demanded. Hi, Indeed, the unit needed to be "calibrated" and is now functionning. However, I cannot turn the following features on: - KA (on) - X (on) when I do so, the unit displays the ?L01 CAL message again. Would it be because those frequencies are not in use in my area? But otherwise, K band seems to functionning well. Thanks! |
