When I bought the XM it came with an aftermarket warranty. There was a slight drip from the water pump. The warranty paid out with no quibble for the water pump to be changed - and didn't even ask for a "betterment" fee for doing the cambelt at the same time. They also paid out for a replacement suspension pipe due to a slight leak at one end - even though, by the time the pipe was finally delivered, the warranty had expired. I forget whose warranty - might have been CarCarePlan.

DOH!!! What a pillock I am! Our warranty is indeed CarCarePlan through the CSMA - NOT Warranty Direct as I stated earlier. Sorry folks :o)
