From: Yvan on 25 May 2006 01:15 Anyone has LPG conversion with a Weber DCOE carbs? I am about to fit two DCOE's (actually DHLA 40H -same thing) to my BMW. I was wondering if it can be done, and what are experiences. Perhaps a link, some photos? -- ___ ____ /__/ / \ ** Registrovani korisnik Linuksa #291606 ** / / \/ /\ \ ** Registered Linux user #291606 ** /__/\____/--\__\ ** http://counter.li.org/ **

Let me rephrase my question. I heard that near me is a shop that makes custom lpg mixers. What would be better - to put mixer between carb and inlet manifold, or between carb and air filter (and why)? -- ___ ____ /__/ / \ ** Registrovani korisnik Linuksa #291606 ** / / \/ /\ \ ** Registered Linux user #291606 ** /__/\____/--\__\ ** http://counter.li.org/ **

Another question. My carbs are setup (main, idle and air correct jet, injection pump tube size and venturi) for 2 litre engine, and I have 1.6 litre. As I understand fuel jet sizes have no affect when running on LPG (am I right?). What about air correct jet? And is (petrol) venturi size important when running on LPG? I will probably have to custom make LPG mixer plate. If recommended petrol venturi size for carb (Solex PHH) and my engine (BMW M10 1.6) is 30mm should mixer plate have inner diameter 30mm or not (currently venturi is 34mm for two litre engine) -- ___ ____ /__/ / \ ** Registrovani korisnik Linuksa #291606 ** / / \/ /\ \ ** Registered Linux user #291606 ** /__/\____/--\__\ ** http://counter.li.org/ **
