Because they are lying shits. As are eCar car insurance BTW.

One of my relatives was emigrating and sold his car to anycar despite
advice to sell on Autotrader or ebay. They gave him �100 for a fairly
decent low mileage Astra that would probably have made closer to �1000
on Autotrader.

eCar are simply dyed-in-the-wool liars.

Jeez - reading through some of the stories on that web page just makes you
weep as to how gullible so many people are. They'll sign anything that's put
in front of them without properly going through it. It makes you despair...

Submitted a complaint to the Advertising Standards Authority, as the
TV ad def says we buy ANY AGE car.
