Does the phrase "pissing in the wind" mean anything to you Mr. CTM? It's
extremely relevant when you are trying to debate anything with Ed.

Hilarious it was, yeah! <facepalm>

Your words betray your real feelings, *now* you've started describing
the Range Rover as "flash". Clearly this guy and his cars got under
your skin, especially as (as you've assumed), he owns a Porsche too.

His shoes > your shoes and you want to portray him as a
"prat"/"*anker", to feel better about it. One of the oldest reactions
to jealousy that there is. Also one of the more obvious ones.

I suspect a great many people would agree, I just wouldn't expect to
find many of them in here.

Whether you care or not still remains irrelevant to how you once again
flounder to avoid this question. Got the balls to give it a go this
time?

If he were to see this thread, what do you think he'd think of you?

I associate with mostly people who would be pretty ambivalent about
it, wouldn't think it were cool, wouldn't think the guy was a prat and
*certainly* wouldn't run to usenet to start a sad thread about it.

I'm not suggesting he would agree with you, I've already said that
it's clear that he doesn't think he's a prat.

>It's blindingly obvious he wouldn't.

Indeed it is.

> You seem to think that makes some kind of point. It doesn't.

Probably because that's not my point. My point is that you seem to
think he's a "prat" for putting a mere sticker in his "flash" Range
Rover, yet I wonder what you think he would think of *you* for then
deciding to start a thread in a usenet group calling him names about
it.

Are you going to give it a go or would you like me to answer this
question for you?

>This is how it works:-

Yep.

>He thinks, because presumably he has a Porsche, it's now hilarious for him

Which is the "nice car", you're referring to here? Do you think that
he's drawing attention to the Porsche or the Range Rover? But I
thought you considered it to be "boast[ing]", now you seem to think
that he'll think it to be "hilarious"?

> He's wrong (except in the eyes of fellow chavs).

Do chavs often own Range Rovers and Porsches? Not in my experience,
but is it important to you that you describe him as a chav now?
Clearly you've already taken umbrage with his "flash" Range Rover, so
I suspect you'd have some kind of downer on him regardless of this
mere sticker.

>Understand now? Thought not. Bye.

Oh I understand alright, it's been very clear to me from the outset.
Jealousy and a chip on your shoulder WRT "flash" cars and people not
"underplay[ing]" it as much as you have decided that they ought to.

His shoes > your shoes and I doubt he would give a hoot about your sad

I would expect that the guy would think that you were a small-minded
jealous and sad individual to create this thread. Of course you don't
care what he thinks just like he's very unlikely to care what you
think.

Difference is, he's driving a Range Rover Vogue and a Porsche and
you're creating usenet threads about it. You're *super* cool..
