Unfortunately, you must be the idiot if you think extra driving in conditions that are different to normal, are a waste of time. riding in race conditions have greatly improved my riding. --

Not really, that's a standby charge in case all else fails. Someone I know got done for that for driving off from a stop. But the drink driving charge was brought in front of the mags. Similar here, he got done for the various charged and the incidental ones got dropped.

If you hadn't snipped so carelessly everyone would see that I posted the above in response to your "I suspect that he wasn't all that confused when he drove into a police officer in his haste to make good his escape." In other words, I was refering to him allegedly knocking over an officer, not to the subsequent following him. I've already made it clear that I have no idea what was going through his head when he didn't stop, but I'm not buying his 'escort' line. >> If you watch the video, after he does stop the car starts >> rolling back, which suggests some issues with having proper control. >> He quite possibly didn't even know he had hit the officer. > >Hehehe ... so you're saying that he's unfit to be a driver? Quite possibly yes. Doesn't mean he deserves to have his car trashed. I don't know if he was banned, but he should probably be required to retake his test! Can a beak order that without ordering a ban? >On a slightly more serious note, the full video is available (or was) on >"Police stop" - a TV show.
