I used to regularly see an EK Holden in the Port Melb area that
allegedly had XU1 mechanicals including late model suspension and
brakes, it looked like a stock EK with wide wheels but seemed to perform
very nicely.
The owner worked for GMH at Fishermans Bend.

Except the gap in equipment levels isn't so great any more, Falcodores
now have similar brakes, steering and suspension to a Benz and their
ride handling and stopping are a lot more comparable whereas in the past
they were chalk and cheese.

Very possible, I know my BIL who still works for GMH had enough spare
parts to rebuild my sisters Camira several times and it saved him a
fortune because it needed most of them:-)
