Under 50v?
Lots of panels exceed that on their own and as soon as you connect a few
in series the system voltage will be a hell of lot higher than 50v.
The most common panel we install is 90v and can be either in series of
3, 4 or 5, system voltages between 270-450vdc.

It couldn't be an ad because I didn't mention the company name but his
main customer is the biggest solar company in the country with about 20%
of the market.

I have a legal wind genny running overhead , it's a more common
option here , although the dc voltage can be over come by a short course
to allow the work and then inspetion or under supervision ( thats easy
to do as you can guess)

Umm, as long as the LV and ELV is suitably segregated and carried out in a tradesman like manner.
AS3000 still applies for ELV.

LV is concidered aything over 50VDC and 47.5 VAC, Hmm not 100% on the AC but I think thats pretty
close.

He never said what he was buying them for, maybe he fired them from the back of the "Wickham"?????
He just asks them if they can remove his shorts and install a hotpoint in his passage!
