your joking right :-)

I have not begun to insult you, for a start it would be rather excessive
don't you think?
after all, nature has done enough to you already.
So, why no Fan page, why no front page of the papers Ozone ??

Such as? :)

Here's the rub Oz. Most people running multi-million dollar outfits
generally don't run vehicles with engines that can safely use a wetsump oil
system. Even V8 Boringcars which are *supposed* to be based on road going
vehicles run their engines lower in the chassis than standard and have next
to no ground clearance which prevents them from running a regular wet pan of
the capacity they'd like. To these people there is a distinct advantage to
running a dry sump system.

One you get into the "lower buck" arena things change.

You'd be amazed at the number of people who decide to run a particular piece
of hardware with no real reason for doing so other than because someone
*else* is doing so, and it's seen as the "thing to do". I'm not saying that
was the situation in your case (assuming for a moment that any of what
you've claimed is true), but it's out there and component manufacturers make
their living from it.

In your particular case (again assuming that there's a modicum of truth to
it), you took a very hard road to solve a relatively simple problem.

You'd be up there.

Nope. Haven't touched it in over 2 years.

This last 2 years gone by I've had 4 on the go in various stages. 2 have
been finished and 2 are works in progress. In between time I've been busy
building a few components for other people, rebuilding my bobcat and
finishing the reno's on my house while I organise building my new one (which
at this stage looks like I might be taking on as an owner builder project).

Parts for 43 year old Falcons aren't exactly growing on trees Oz :)

You were making some noise a while ago about building a clubman, and there's
nothing difficult about obtaining parts for those. As to what your other
imaginary projects are I have no idea, but I expect they're worthy of
admission into Jay Leno's collection.
