Hmm... http://mk1-performance-conversions.co.uk/special_tuning.htm

No mention of a X flow head in their brochures....

I wasn't talking about an engine exploding in a blink at 11,000 rpm with no
oil pressure. I was just commenting that revving an engine in neutral wasn't
a good idea when that was the limiting chip you had plugged into the
ignition module. It was something "I learned" as I mentioned.

I had a Mini engine fail *big time* at 8000rpm within ten seconds of it
losing oil pressure.

Yeah sure Nod,
then you added this bit

" that when the oil pressure gauge shows zip you've got about as much
time as it takes to load your underpants before the engine expires if
you don't get the clutch in and the ignition off pronto."

Did you forget? AGAIN!!

Actually Nod...The first time you asked what head it was,
I answered "Special Tuning"

I then needed to repeat myself in another post.

Need me to find that one too?

Indeed. The Hillman Minx was a great pomme car. The only design feature I
had issue with, was the steering-box. They used a rotating peg which ran up
and down a worm or scroll (proper name needed). Once the worm gear and to
some extent the bearing within the peg wore, the peg would start to jump out
of the worm track into the next. Plus the steering-box used to flex on the
frame. I got the last genuine peg from the importer's warehouse in Botany
IIRC.
