Then I'll try the Pratley 2-pack, it's on the shelf too.
Forgot I had it.

If all else fails I may have to compromise original. Not until

It wont last
anything but heating with a gas torch and adding more metal will fail
quickly or machine a replacement
I have a feeling one of the common mower valves will do the job easily
