In your opinion, but it's one that's not universally shared.

If you're spending a hundred bucks on it then you're *not* overhauling it.
You're just spending a hundred bucks to keep it running until the time
*next* time you'll need to spend a hundred bucks to keep it running.

They probably would have went for just as long without doing it too.

Repco has never had anything to do with bulk quantities of "change over"
reconditioned engines other than to sell them in their stores. The engines
themselves were rebuilt by private companies that had "deals" with Repco to
sell them.

That said, some of them were indeed *woefully* bad.

As far as I'm concerned there is a right way to do things regardless of the
value or the application of item in question, and if you're not prepared to
do what's needed the right way then you should leave it for someone else who
is.

I would *much* rather spend a little more and do something properly and not
have to worry about it again rather than save a few bucks and be concerned
about how long it was going to last. "Patch ups" are nothing other than a
short term stay of execution, and in the end they generally work out to be
more expensive than fixing the problem the right way.

Sticks and stones Oz. Sticks and Stones. You've lost it haven't you. I
got under your skin so bad that you are losing the plot. Poor Oz. The
nurse should be around soon.

Oh so you don't mind if I start suggesting that your family is living on
welfare. Perhaps that's your problem, you're not getting enough
welfare to live like those of us who earn an honest living.

I was going to tell you what I have just purchased in the last week for
cash, however it's not something I wish to inform you about and let's
face it it's not nice to make those on welfare envious.
