As already said - I gave up long ago guessing at whether the hose might
be long enough and either get on the right side of a pump, or reverse
in. I have never had any objection raised to my reversing in, providing
I do not cause any problem in doing it.

Given that virtually every petrol station has a one-way traffic rule
enforced by no entry signs at the exit, they may beg to differ...

If they can't manage that, then I worry that these people are driving
cars. Goodness knows what they would have done before power steering.
