From: Elder on 6 Aug 2010 11:26 I'm going to give the Saab a service shortly, and that involves removing the fuel distributor head in one unit to do the air filter. I know that one of the 21 year fuel lines will crack/break from being flexed so figure I might as well get some new lines/banjo bolts/crush washers ready. I know VAG, Porsche and Ford fitted K-Jet and the VAG/Porsche ones are braided in some cases, instead of the Saab semi-hard plastic lines, but which were the longer and where would I purchase said ones? I've heard of people using VW and Audi ones on Saabs, but difficult to pin down which exact version they used as there were several different ones for each Golf and Audi model. Or is there a K-jet specialist who has them/makes them up as needed, knowing what each car requires? -- Carl Robson Get cashback on your purchases Topcashback http://www.TopCashBack.co.uk/skraggy_uk/ref/index.htm Greasypalm http://www.greasypalm.co.uk/r/?l=1006553

Would I need to know what individual parts I needed, or could I just go in and say, "could you make me a set of K-Jet fuel lines in this length please" and they would know what it needs, being dumb here because while I know it is a simple system, and was pretty popular, I have no knowledge of how well known it currently is. -- Carl Robson Get cashback on your purchases Topcashback http://www.TopCashBack.co.uk/skraggy_uk/ref/index.htm Greasypalm http://www.greasypalm.co.uk/r/?l=1006553

Take the old ones in?

Ah yeah, good point, the obvious solution. And I know the local depot/trade counter is actually just around the corner. Might give them a call with rough measurements to get a best guess price, them remove the old ones and take them in. -- Carl Robson Get cashback on your purchases Topcashback http://www.TopCashBack.co.uk/skraggy_uk/ref/index.htm Greasypalm http://www.greasypalm.co.uk/r/?l=1006553
