Why are there so many car haters in this uk.rec.driving group. Don't they
have a 'green' group of their own to go to? We drivers don't have an
anti-green chip on our shoulders. We don't hunt down their groups and spam
them with pro-society, pro-improvement, anti-green, anti-protest,
propaganda. Or at least I don't. (maybe some do?)

There are also a few people who adopt the view that if one does not offer
unqualified and fulsome praise to anything car related then one must be a
car hater. Such people fail to understand that other people can have a
balanced view and see both the advantages and disadvantages of a situation,
something akin to the "you're either with or against us" mentality.

These are a very few of the the delights of the human race.

Look at the cross postings. There are two nutters primarily responsible. One
seems to think cycle helmets are so important they need to drawn to the
attention of non-cyclists. There is another that posts every article he
can find about cars involved in crashes. Then thread drift takes hold.

Conor I'm not prejudiced. I hate everyone equally.
